Our Client Services team works tirelessly to help our Freight Farmers unlock their potential. We offer all farmers a full suite of services, including comprehensive onboarding, training, logistics coordination, technical support, and much more! 

Zoning Approval

Our team can support you and provide advice while you navigate receiving zoning approval for your farm. This critical process can be a bit tricky — check out our blog on tips for navigating zoning and count on our staff guiding you every step of the way.

Preparing Your Site for Delivery

You’ll have no problem come delivery day if you prepare your site in advance! We provide you with complete logistics support using our well-established shipping channels. All you need to do to make your unique site farm-ready is follow a few simple site requirements — see our Delivery and Placement Guide for the basics.

Freight Farms can take care of all the delivery logistics by leveraging well-established relationships and years of experience. You are also welcome to use your own shipping options. Simply contact us with your shipping details so we can have the farm ready for pick up. Check out some previous farm deliveries!

Launching Your Farm

The Client Services Team will work with you to get your farm set up as soon as it arrives. The Greenery comes mostly preassembled; all that’s required on launch day is for you to connect the farm to water, electricity, and WiFi, hang the plant panels, and calibrate your farm sensors and controller.

Farm Camp

Travel to our headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, to learn alongside a cohort of other new Freight Farmers. Farm Camp takes place over the course of two days and is offered every other month. A group of our staff will train you, with hands-on sessions in our onsite farms and seminars and workshops in our office.

On-Site Launch

Get individualized training on your home turf. A dedicated Customer Support specialist will travel to your location for two days to help you launch your farm and train you along the way.

Farm launch includes unboxing the farm, hydroponic systems setup, farmhand® setup, and a complete farm diagnostics review to ensure everything is set to work properly.

Farmhand® Academy

Learn at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home. Farmhand Academy is a comprehensive online training that features engaging videos and articles to help you learn and quizzes to test your knowledge.

This training is best as an accompaniment to either Farm Camp or an on-site launch.

When something comes up and you need help, the team is here for you. We are available via phone and email to answer your questions and help troubleshoot solutions. 

Data Analysis & Optimization

We want each Freight Farmer to feel confident and knowledgeable about their growing operation. Once you’re comfortable with the basic farm operations, we can help you analyze your farmhand® data to find ways to optimize internal farm conditions for the best results.

Remote Support

Part of the power of farmhand is that it equips our Client Services Team with the ability to diagnose issues remotely. The team can use farmhand to access data from any farm — yours included — to provide immediate support and solve issues from afar.

Regular Check-Ins

Every journey has its milestones, and Freight Farming is no different! A member of the Client Services Team will check in periodically to make sure everything is running smoothly. We’re here to support you from the moment you seed your first crop to when you’ve graduated to developing your own unique farm recipes for success.

Freight Farms has compiled a wealth of knowledge that is available any time you need, all conveniently located on our farmhand® platform. 

Knowledge Base

Farmhand Knowledge Base has hundreds of articles about the best practices for container farming, food safety, operations, business development, and more! Our regularly updated content is available 24/7 on the farmhand mobile app or web browser.

Community

Farmhand Community is a hub where you can connect with other Freight Farmers to ask questions, share information, showcase your progress, and celebrate accomplishments.
