Lettuces, leafy greens, herbs, brassicas, certain root vegetables, edible flowers, and many other crops grow wonderfully in the Greenery S, regardless of geographic location or exterior climate. To date, Freight Farms has experimented internally with over 500 different crop varieties.

Electricity usage in the Greenery S is necessary to power different systems like lighting, pumps, fans, and environmental controls, among others. The variation in electricity usage depends on factors such as crop types, inside humidity levels, and the outside climate. It is essential to optimize the controllable factors to ensure the lowest possible energy use.
The Greenery S offers three pre-set LED power modes that operators can select depending on their growing objectives. Each mode has a range of electricity usage and an impact on yield output.

No. Farmhand is what makes the Greenery S a smart farm, and what links the farmer (you!) to the farm.

Aside from connection to utilities, Greenery S installation requires only a level 50’ x 10’ parcel sturdy enough to withstand the farm’s eight-ton gross weight (pavement, concrete, trap rock, and sonotubes are all adequate surfaces). The Greenery S is built in new international, intermodal freight containers, and is therefore literally designed to travel.

Yes! Our logistics team will work to coordinate delivery of a farm to your prepared site. Alternately, you can also coordinate your own delivery if you prefer.
